What this consultation covers
Leadership can be a lonely responsibility. People who lead others spiritually are expected to carry everyone else's questions, and often have nowhere to bring their own. Others come simply with a spiritual concern they have lived with for a long time and want to discuss within a traditional understanding.
Dr Salongo Hamuza receives both, privately, and listens.
How this is held
With respect. Uganda holds many faiths and many traditions side by side, and people who visit a traditional healer come from all of them. Nobody is asked to leave their faith, to change it, or to set it against anyone else's.
What is never offered
No consultation is ever directed against another person, another leader, another congregation or another faith. Requests to cause spiritual harm to a person are declined, without exception.
